from 1859

The first knowledge on the activity of the builders of the family Pallotta is obtained from the Chapter Sessions of the Bishopric of Terni that speaks of a “significant renovation of the bell tower of the Cathedral realized with great ability by the foreman Pietro Pallotta for the requested sum of 59 “scudi” and 32 “baiocchi”, in June 1859.
Since the activity continues without interruption, it have been handed down in direct line for six generations and counts, among other things, in the 30s, one of the first women entrepreneurs throughout the country.
During this long time, some of the most significant works of the city in civil and industrial buildings have been realized, these will be briefly illustrated below.
We believe that the key elements of such a permanent business presence have been, and we hope they will always continue to be, the transparency and clarity in dealing with customers and clients, as well as the seriousness and sincerity in relations with the trade unions and the workers.
Currently, Pallotta S.p.A. is one of the leading construction companies in the region in terms of sales volume and number of employees, and it is probably the only one to be entered in the third century of its history.

Edilizia Civile

Company Pallotta S.p.A. is born as executor of civil construction works, both public and private. Unfortunately, most of creations of the first decades of activity have been destroyed, together with a great part of the city, during the 2nd World War, when the allied bombardments martyred Terni in order to strike down some strategic objectives.
However, there remain some valuable examples of buildings of the 10s and 20s such as the former institute for surveyors, the former clinic Bemporad, the Piazza Manni (it remain perfectly intact, while a bomb destroyed the adjacent twin building), the house of fighter and some buildings in the district of Sant’Agnese.
